About The Velvet Creepers:
The Velvet Creepers are a queer circus and cabaret company that blend vintage glamour with a unique surreal aesthetics and promote body positivity, queer visibility and empowerment. They are dedicated to reviving the spirit of Weimar Cabaret mixed with Berlin queer club culture of today.
They were founded in 2018 by Lilly Mortis (vocalist, emcee), Fifi Fantôme (aerialist and burlesque dancer) and Dunja von K (hula hoop and hars suspension artist). The Velvet Creepers have been producing their regular Show in Ballhaus Berlin for 5 years and have graced many stages at theaters and performance festivals across Europe. Notable stages include Le Consulat (Paris), Fusion Festival, Stuttgart Poetry Festival, UNTOLD Festival, Central Kabarett Leipzig and many more.

Queen of Hula Hoops

Two-time Guinness World Record holder Dunja von K is undoubtedly Berlin’s Queen of Hula Hoop and internationally known as a successful hoop artist. Her high-energy performances go far beyond spinning hoops and extravagant costumes – they are a fusion of art, skill, and deep storytelling. With over 80 hula hoops spinning simultaneously, she has not only pushed boundaries but also challenged her audience’s imagination. Her impressive talent has taken her to stages and TV screens around the world, where she mesmerizes with an unparalleled blend of art and athleticism. Her artistic repertoire has also expanded to hair suspension, adding another layer of awe to her performances. As part of The Velvet Creepers, Berlin’s iconic circus and queerlesque trio, Dunja delivers powerful and visually stunning shows that redefine the boundaries of circus arts and queer expression.

With her larger than life dance moves, famed story lines and strange imagination The Canadian Queen of Dark Cabaret brings you into her world. She is an international multi-skilled Circus and Burlesque Performer. Her specialities include Aerial Hoop, Contemporary Dance, Hat Juggling, Clowning and Burlesque. She truly captivates the audience with her passionate moves and highly emotional performance as well as her breathtaking acrobatics. Fifi is a Shapeshifter, a sensual dark glamazon, who may surprise you as genderbending Clown.

With her silky voice and dark humour, the Queen of Cabaret Noir lures you into her sublime fantasy. Lilly Mortis is a burlesque artist, compère, and jazz singer, who combines the glamour of Weimar Berlin with twisted expressionist aesthetics in lavish costumes and avant-garde narratives.
With charme and ease she incorporates modern feminist topics into her fabulous shows. Her shows are a play of light and shadow, enchanting and disturbing.
